Description
The Nucleus-M is an innovative 3-channel wireless lens control system, providing comprehensive control over focus, iris, and zoom. With the flexibility to manage settings on the FIZ hand unit or between two wireless hand grips, users can easily split control channels between the hand unit and grips as needed. The system offers a remarkable wireless range of 1,000 feet for both the hand unit and hand grips, providing extensive flexibility and control options.
The Nucleus-M system features built-in motor drives for each motor, directly communicating with the hand unit and hand grips. This eliminates the need for a separate MDR on your rig, streamlining the camera setup and reducing setup time. By setting the motors and controls to the same channel, users gain full control effortlessly. The motors offer automatic and manual calibration options, accommodating lenses without hard end stops at close focus and infinity.
Designed to clamp onto 19mm or 15mm rods, the motors provide easy attachment and detachment without removing other accessories. Each motor includes a standard 0.8 mod, 35 tooth, 32 pitch gear suitable for cinema lenses, and the torque at 14.8V is 2.5N·m. Powering the motors requires just one power port on the camera rig, utilizing a P-tap power cable connected to one motor and daisy-chaining power to the others with short 7-pin to 7-pin cables.
