Employing both infrared control and a neutral density filter, the IR ND is well-suited for HD cameras with heightened low-light sensitivity and a greater vulnerability to infrared contamination. Unlike standard neutral density filters, which may accentuate the effects of infrared pollution when countering increased light sensitivity in HD sensors, the IR ND effectively addresses this issue.
