The EOS C500 MARK II utilizes a high-quality debayering algorithm for 5.9K over sampling, resulting in superior image quality with reduced noise and moiré. Its compact and lightweight design, weighing only 1,730g, makes it ideal for various shooting conditions and compatible with gimbals and handheld rigs.
With support for interchangeable lens mounts, including EF and PL mounts, the EOS C500 MARK II offers a wide range of lens options to suit different project requirements. It also has optional extension units for multi-camera support, additional interfaces, and a V-Lock battery mount for extended recording times.
EOS C500 MARK II supports anamorphic format lenses by electronically de-squeezing the image in the viewfinder and on connected monitors for viewing. On the sensor users can take advantage of the camera’s full 5.9K resolution by using 1.3x squeeze anamorphic lenses that cover the full 16×9 area of the EOS C500 MARK II sensor. Popular 2x squeeze anamorphic lenses that cover a native 1.2:1 aspect ratio on the sensor can be used as well using a 4:3 cropped area of the sensor.
