The Misfit Six – 3-Stage Kit ensures readiness for various lenses, accommodating up to three 6.6×6.6in filters crucial for ultra-wide, anamorphic, and large cinema zoom lenses. Its durable carbon fiber construction and user-friendly design can be customized for diverse filmmaking challenges.
This kit includes three 6.6×6.6in filter trays and is compatible with the 4×5.65in Filter Tray for Misfit Six (B1251.1053), enabling the use of a combination of filters and sizes.
Featuring a patented Reveal Stage, the kit allows seamless conversion between 2-stage and 3-stage configurations without tools or extra hardware, providing compactness or expanded creative control as needed.
To complete the kit, adding a 6.6in Frame Safe clamp adapter with a wide range of sizes from 80mm to 162mm is recommended for a wide field of view.
Mounting options for the matte box include clip-on directly onto the lens, rod mounting in lightweight or studio builds, or utilizing a swing-away setup for easy lens access during frequent changes.
Shading control is enhanced with the included top flag, quick to install without tools, and featuring extendable wings for added coverage. For additional creative control, side flags and hard mattes can be added.
