The Vaxis Storm 1000S rental kit offers broadcast-standard wireless video tools for professional shoots. Compact yet powerful, the system transmits clean 1080p60 video over HDMI and 3G/HD‑SDI with sub‑1 ms latency and visually lossless output. With a line‑of‑sight range of approximately 350 m, it supports long-distance monitoring and multi-camera setups.
Engineered for robustness, the units feature built-in antennas to prevent breakages and durable aluminium chassis with OLED screens for channel, battery, and signal readouts. The transmitter accepts HDMI/SDI input with SDI loop-through, while each receiver provides dual SDI and one HDMI outputs. Power flexibility includes V‑Mount plates and 2‑pin LEMO/DC or micro‑USB inputs.
The kit supports multicast transmission to multiple receivers simultaneously and includes a special “0’ mode” for instant playback with Alexa Mini cameras. A built‑in fan ensures stable operation during continuous use.
Mounting is straightforward using 1/4″‑20 threads or cold‑shoe brackets. The Storm 1000S supports 20 selectable RF channels across 5.1–5.9 GHz, including 20/40 MHz bandwidths, minimizing interference and allowing paired systems to operate adjacent to each other smoothly.
