Description

The Sony FX6 Kit rental offers a lightweight, full-frame cinema camera with powerhouse performance for solo and run‑and‑gun productions. Featuring a 10.2 MP back‑illuminated CMOS sensor and BIONZ XR engine, it records internal 4K 60 fps in 10‑bit 4:2:2 XAVC‑I and up to 4K 120 fps in XAVC‑L, plus 1080p up to 240 fps—all without time limits thanks to efficient active cooling.

Dynamic range exceeds 15 stops, and the camera includes an electronic variable ND filter (1/4–1/128), native ISO of 800 with expanded sensitivity up to 409,600, and fast hybrid autofocus inherited from the FX9. Dual CFexpress Type A and SD UHS-II slots provide flexible recording and redundancy.

Designed for mobility, the modular body weighs roughly 0.89 kg (without accessories) and includes a detachable smart grip, top handle with dual XLR inputs, rotating 3.5″ touchscreen LCD, and multiple ¼‑20 + ⅜‑16 mounting points. Built‑in Wi‑Fi enables remote control and streaming.

RAW (16‑bit 2K/4K) output is available via SDI to external recorder, and S‑Cinetone delivers cinematic colour straight out of camera.
