The built-in Revolva ND system features a quick-rotate cartridge that gives instant access to multiple neutral density levels. The result is smoother exposure transitions and fewer interruptions when moving between setups. This mechanical system also avoids the pitfalls of screw-in filters and keeps your front-of-lens rig lightweight and clean. The elegant and robust engineering of Revolva RF/PL complements your RED® system seamlessly. At the heart of this system is a quick-change cartridge that contains four best-in-class filters with ND values ranging from clear to 2.1. Plus, any existing Revolva cartridge is also compatible with this system.
The filter wheel of Revolva RF/PL snaps magnetically between positions, locks firmly, and clicks safely into the mount. For ultimate stability, we recommend using the Chinstrap mount support, which locks the mount directly to your camera. The secure RED-native locking mechanism ensures proper back focus, lens stability, and compatibility with most industry-standard PL glass.
