The Aputure 1200d Pro Kit rental delivers industry-leading light output in a compact, weather-resistant fixture designed for film and broadcast. This 1200 W COB LED produces daylight-balanced 5600 K light with high CRI and TLCI ratings, offering a powerful alternative to traditional HMIs.
It includes three interchangeable Hyper reflectors—narrow (15°), medium (30°), and wide (55°)—for tailored beam control. The fixture is built with IP54-rated weather resistance, including sealed ports and waterproof cabling, suitable for both indoor and exterior lighting setups.
Dimming is stepless from 0.1% to 100%, with four fan modes to balance noise and output. Control options include on-board, Sidus Link Bluetooth, DMX512, LumenRadio CRMX, and Art-Net/sACN for integration with professional lighting consoles.
The 1200d Pro runs via AC or dual 48 V DC battery inputs, with one battery providing half output and two enabling full performance. The separate ballast reduces the head weight for rigging or stand use and allows placement flexibility with a 7.5 m head cable.
The Bowens Mount makes it compatible with a broad range of modifiers including softboxes, parabolic reflectors, and fresnels. Despite its high power, the fixture is compact and manageable for small crews, weighing approximately 8.9 kg with yoke.
This kit is ideal for commercial sets, interviews, narrative film, and location work requiring a single high-output, colour-accurate source. Included in the rental are the lamp head, three Hyper reflectors, control ballast, head cable, power cable, and padded rolling case.
